The young star’s new show, ‘Good Luck Charlie’ is casting right now! If you want to star in the show, now is your chance!

The new Disney Channel original live-action multi-camera sitcom “Good Luck Charlie” has started production and casting for guest stars, day players, and extras is underway. The pilot for this show was titled “Oops”. The show will start taping on August 24, 2009 and is scheduled for a 2010 premiere on Disney Channels around the world.

One of the many roles currently being cast is the role of Ivy Wentz, a female teen series regular. She will play the best friend of Teddy Holliday.

Story:

The series follows two teenagers, Teddy and Casey Holliday, and their 10-year-old brother, Gabe, whose parents enlist their help when they return to work after the birth of their fourth child, Charlotte, aka Charlie. With their parents juggling full time careers, the older Holliday siblings pitch in, getting very familiar with baby formula, burp clothes and babysitting while navigating typical teenage life. In each episode Teddy creates a personalized video diary for Charlie. Each video will chronicle Teddy’s daily adventures and mishaps for Charlie to use as advice when her big sister is no longer living at home.

Labor Pains, which stars Mendler alongside Lindsay Lohan, is available right now on DVD. The movie is about a young girl who pretends to be pregnant so she can get some time off her job. This becomes more and more difficult as she realizes she has to pretend for a whole 9 months!

Bridgit will be on Wizards of Waverly place TONIGHT.

Wizards vs. Vampires: Tasty Bites, will be about Juliet (Bridgit) trying to get the Russos to change their eating habits with health foods and also trying to get them out of the house and moving around a bit more!

Sounds good right? Except it later comes to surface that vampires prefer the taste of healthy blood!

Rumors are flying around with people claiming that she will be the new Miley Cyrus due to her landing a huge new role with Good Luck Charlie.

Perez Hilton claimed that Selena and Miley will be worried about another young starlet entering the ring, but I think that really we should all just appreciate Bridgit for who she is, and what a great actress she is.

Disney is keeping up the momentum with hit shows such as Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly place, but as these start to fall by the wayside (Hannah Montana is approaching its final season), they are looking for new people to take up the role of Miley and Selena.

It seems that Mendler might be set for stardom as she has been cast in the brand new show.

Joined by a number of leading Disney stars, it looks to be a real hit.
